This was Karrick, Tea's wanderhome character, painted for @teasugarsalt.bsky.social This was done in Ink, watercolour and gouache.
The cool part was playing Rebelle. My little laptop is not nearly as powerful enough for it, but it's cool to use to emulate wet on wet to get the soft transitions.
Time lapse of the process. Lineart was done in CSP Rebelle for colouring. Over ten hours in 30 seconds.

I asked my phone what the flower or Nova Scotia was…. This is wrong. Also look at who it cited… Why?! I disabled Apple Intelligence… where the hell did it get this sloppy ass answer.
One of the cool thing we did is use normal mapping. Which allows us to do dynamic lighting on the character. This is not to hard as Godot supports all this out of the box, you just gotta paint the normal map. The weakness is the lack of self shadows.
What the fuck YouTube?! I didn’t try it because it’s unethical as fuck to modify someone’s art with AI. But why did they do this?!
