Spent an evening in Earthsea. My favourite quote from the chapter (Le Guin was a god tier fantasy writer), as well as a subtle dig against the TERF writer that I found on Wikipedia.

This year, I want to get into Ursula K. Le Guin's body of work, and I've decided to get this comprehensive edition of the Hainish books for that reason. I've already made headway into Rocannon's World and her prose is sublime. This is going to be fun.
The edition is special to me as well because I had it signed by Jonathan Rinzler before he passed far too soon.
Ever performed open heart surgery on a Star Wars book? After a leaky battery had corroded the battery compartment of The Bounty Hunter Code, the wife and I desoldered and replaced the contacts. I had never done such a thing before and for her it has been almost 20 years. But: it worked! Before/after

If you have Star Wars books with batteries inside... take them out if you do not use their function for an extended period of time. My copy of Bounty Hunter Code is still salvageable, but this was a close call with a corroded battery.

Look at our big-ass booth! Quiz, photo point, Watto's Dice charity game, scavenger hunt station and Claudia's signing table. It was our biggest booth yet! We had a great time as a team & the energy was great. I also (co-)hosted three panels, but don't have pics of that yet. Thanks to all who came /2
