11 years ago today, I was in Seattle enjoying a sake toast to a new Mitsubishi regional jet. The program has since been canceled and the plane was never delivered to an airline customer.
Unbeknownst to me, Lufthansa switched from the A350-900 last week to the A340-300 on its FRA-DEN route. Some nice autumn light caught today’s arrival of LH446. D-AIGS is 26 years old. I’d prefer the A350.
