terrible comic day 2026 about seeing being believing

lately as my vision gets worse again and i wait for insurance to approve the medication i need to use my body
i remember the dreams i have frequently where an ultimate unwinnable battle must be fought in space with
no gravity and no hope against a foe whose form is a glassy sphere,
transparent like a lens but alive and trying and
failing to win against odds to find meaning
or to wake without knowledge of the fight or any kind of clarity

for whom must this be an omen. who could be haunted by
lenses?

there's one really good star wars tv series and it's Star Wars: Galaxy of Sounds. the pacing is great, the writing is the best it's been since 1999, and the effects are really impressive if occasionally flashy.

My goal this year was to make a game that was also a toy, and the concept of controlling three characters at once made for great challenge both to work within the limits of the system and the limits of a player. Give it a try, and see if you can beat the Flegg Rush arcade challenge mode!

it's a functional gameboy color game that you can play on mobile in browser, on desktop, or using an emulator! but I *really* especially like how this emulates on mobile in itch (portrait or landscape), with the gameboy buttons built in, and the full range of colors

hugo is so different from borges or melville. the humor is a claw that comes out when you do not expect it, the reference mundane and historical in a way that depicts an unobtrusive interesting world. but his titles — a thing apart! one wonders if baccano's titles are in the voice of Hugo

why does Eight Antidote go from "fun fact about hummingbirds" to "you should leave" on a dime? like all of AMCE's first act, it's an Yskandr test: but here by someone who only knows Lsel Ambassadors as charismatic mysteries full of anecdotes. when Mahit has nothing to teach him, she gets dismissed!

my solution? a .35 second transition to this particular color of blue. from any gamestate to this and back and is a small enough contrast that it doesn't seem to trigger anything, and .35 is as fast as I can go without it feeling "flash flash". hopefully for people with normal brains its forgettable
