Many people are taught to see mountain lions only as something to fear. But in reality, these cats shape entire food webs! ♻️✨ This Mountain Lion Day, let us remember that animals do not need to provide us with $ value, entertainment, or convenience to humans in order to deserve safety and liberty.
Today we honor the people who have had and are currently having their homelands taken away from them through war, genocide, colonialism, racism, greed, and exploitation. May we honor this International Day of the World's Indigenous People by standing in solidarity and demanding land back.

Today is World Chocolate Day! Many of us find comfort in chocolate. However, it’s important to recognize that the production of much of our chocolate is far from comforting. 🍫⛓️💥 Many popular brands rely on exploitative child labor practices to keep prices low and meet global demand. 💸

On this date almost 60 years ago, police raided the Stonewall Inn. People were terrorized and criminalized simply for existing in a safe place for queer people. The people fought back, and as the crowd grew, it quickly became one of the greatest examples of collective liberation. ⛓️💥✨❤️🔥
Hatred doesn’t disappear, it has to be confronted, and that means confronting pain. We have so much work to do outside of Pride month to truly advance liberation. This post serves as a reminder that our solidarity should never be transactional, and it should never be tied to only a single month.

Making a Pride Pizza is a delicious way to show support, but true allyship goes beyond the kitchen. In a time when LGBTQIA+ individuals are still being targeted, misrepresented, and discriminated against, it’s important to keep fighting for justice and acceptance outside of Pride Month.
As Pride Month draws to a close, it’s important to remember that celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community isn’t just a once-a-year event. 🏳️🌈 Let’s keep the spirit of Pride alive every day by uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices and making sure our support is genuine, not performative.
Happy Juneteenth! As we celebrate Juneteenth, we honor the joy, pain, celebration, confusion, and courage of those who fought for Black freedom. ❤️ 💛 💚
