I like books, and people who like books. Food, flowers, cat I've not done the age verification thing yet so I may not be able to DM you even if I know you.
Interested to find out how my email address - not the address I used with my blog - is associated with Delicious, which is very much not a blog. Not interested enough to try to find out though. Mia and her scrapers can fuck right off.
The label is coming off my SPF bottle, so I keep finding tiny blue letters scattered on my skin.
Had an empty pot so @shrunkenshrubbery.bsky.social chucked in a sprinkle of wildflower seed mix. So now we have a dense tangle of cornflowers, poppies and more attracting loads of insects.
Video description: a very fluffy grey cat lies on the floor in front of a small fan. Her fur is gently ruffled by the breeze.
Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #raptors - this #peregrine nests in St Alban's Cathedral, this was from last summer. 🪶
Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #InFlight . This #tern is from a session in Cape Town almost 10 years ago. We're undecided on what type of tern it is though! Maybe Caspian in non-breeding plumage.
#Texture is such an interesting #BirdOfTheDay theme! The colours of this #Teal really show the different textures in his feathers, along with the light on the soft waves.
As you can see, the front bed could do with a tidy, but the roses love our horrible soil.
New rose alert! Not entirely what I expected - it's The Kings Rose, which is supposed to be fuchsia and white, like a repeat-flowering Rosa Mundi. This is more like Claude Monet in colour. #bloomscrolling
It's hard to believe this is the cat who has been harassing me to get out of bed for the last half hour.
I regret to inform you that based on the ads I am getting on Instagram, this waistline is back with a vengeance.
This is a cat checkpoint; relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
It feels like fate that the day after I read How To Fake It In Society, I see orpiment in the flesh, @kjcharleswriter.com !
