Look, I accept that one guy always winning reduces the drama, but fancy croissants plus tayberry curd excuses a lot of sins in my book.
Probably the one position that the RCP has continued to hold as they have migrated rightwards across the ideological spectrum is that humour is ideologically suspect.
This seems less difficult than it's being pitched at - do people really think those potholes wouldn't have been fixed without Mamdani or is it perhaps possible that he just rode along on a regular repair trip?

18 months ago I set myself a challenge to cycle through every townland in the west of Co. Derry. I figured it would take me about 6 months and be a good way to get fit. It took a lot longer and I'm still carrying a bit more ballast than ideal, but today I finally finished it off.
Stopped for a breather on my cycle and my life choices are being judged by cows.
I got sent this this afternoon because he was refusing to continue his walk until he'd had his mudbath, so it certainly applies to some of them.
This picture was prompted by climbing 100m to tick off a townland I hadn't visited yet, then finding that the road to it stops just short of the townland boundary. Nice view though.

This is a good point, but not for the reasons the author thinks. Europeans should appreciate that this is a widely shared opinion and should therefore not expect a well-deserved coronary to fix NATO - you just have to accept that you cannot rely upon America any more and must plan accordingly.
