I realize I have none of my car on my phone but the 3 bikes are: ‘79 Suzuki GS425L, ‘06 Kawasaki Ninja 500R, ‘26 Suzuki DR650
Anyone selling or know of a friend selling a Suzuki DR650 in southern Ontario? Let me know before I buy a new one.
Don't trust ai, kids. It will confidently state misinformation as fact. The DR650 still has the same old carbureted 650 engine. Suzuki hasn't even updated the paint scheme for the last 3 years. (It's not broke so no reason to fix it. Though new colours would be nice!)
I’m a big fan of stock. I wish I had the original pipes for this 1979 Suzuki. This aftermarket 2 into 1 pipe crosses the oil filter so I have to take the pipe off every filter change :/ Also I find aftermarket parts use oddball socket sizes. Making me add more tools to the bike’s tool kit.
A 1979 Suzuki GS425 is the bike I'll be riding! My dad helped me restore this bike. I've updated it the last couple weeks with some new emblems on the side overs and a new DOHC emblem on the engine case.
1. Get my outfit together for the ride. I have the jacket and dress shirt. Mainly just need pants to match. 2. Get the Suzuki ready. Take it out of winter storage and find a vintage bag to strap to the back seat. 3. Lose the 10lbs I put on since October. This will be the hardest one.

I would hope with the high gas prices you might start seeing the return of the small but practical economy car in North America but I doubt it.
It’s a Minolta x-7a. Came with a 50mm 1.7. Only has manual and aperture priority which are the only modes I use anyway! Also bought a 28mm 2.8 just the other day for any wide shots on trip. For best value I get prepaid rolls from Bell Arte camera on Ottawa St. Keep your camera loaded!
Picked up a cheap film camera to take on road trips. Did a quick test roll and the camera works well!
