Ace freelance furry artist, animator, and voice actor. My Twitter handle was @MabonTail. Ashamed to be an American. AI users fuck off. 37, He/Him [PFP Alt Text: An illustration of an anthropomorphic red fox with a wide open-mouth and toothy grin.]
They literally make the argument that it does, verbatim, and that's hilarious. My podunk town of 2500 people has five craft breweries on a single street. Hell, half of Main Street is craft breweries and bistros, and North Carolina is the craft brewery capital of the south. They're not even special.
I really need to get into the habit of painting my Warhammer minis as I assemble them. I don’t care if it takes longer, this way I can guarantee I won’t miss any spots. I realized as soon as the glue set on the cape that my jump pack captain is going to be a real pain in the ass to paint.
It took a little over three months of collecting, but I finally have every model in my Warhammer army! Now to finish collecting the paints. Into the Fires of Battle, Unto the Anvil of War!
I think that honor goes to my old D&D character's mother, Lady Elsa Nora Dracalopex. She was the prima donna for The Holy Royal Opera before meeting Viscount Fries Wintram Dracalopex. The love she and her husband share is on par with Morticia and Gomez Addams.
Vines wrote this dreck as though it would spare him from getting loaded up on the trains if the Nazis get the chance. To the fascists, you’re just another queer like the rest of us. You’ll never change that, no matter how many of us you throw under the bus. Respectability politics won’t save you.
I see the DSA's proposal for Ranked Choice voting and raise them STAR Voting.
In his post-campaign retirement, Glacius renovated the vineyard and winery, and opened #DracalopexMeadery. This is where my real-world mead label comes from, to commemorate my first completed D&D campaign and to bring a taste of Glacius' world to life. I sincerely hope I can go commercial with it.
Over the course of a four year campaign I played, Glacius Dracalopex and his team attended a masquerade ball for a rescue mission. Glacius won first prize in a magic contest for creating the illusion of a dragon. Think Gandalf's dragon fireworks in The Lord of the Rings, except with ice instead.
On the other hand, growler bottles in cobalt blue do fit the aesthetic rather nicely.
In researching to set up #DracalopexMeadery, one of my biggest challenges so far is, surprisingly, finding frosted glass bottles. It's my brewery's whole aesthetic! The only thing I've found so far are 750mL Bordeaux bottles and exactly one source for 375mL Bellissima bottles. Forget about growlers.
And now I’ve just finished assembling Adrax Agatone! Much like Vulkan He’stan, they’ll both be leading a five-man Infernus squad in my #Warhammer army.
Firefox has located your file and is attempting to retrieve it.
I fully assembled the warlord to my first proper #Warhammer army. Vulkan He’stan is the current Forgefather of the Salamanders, tasked with seeking out relics forged by the chapter’s primarch, Vulkan. Into the Fires of Battle, unto the Anvil of War!
Kinda funny that I see this right next to how Bird Photography is number two on the trending list.
Eventually, we faced our target, the champion, Lord Alberic de Forte, a towering Griffon Nivernais. Unfortunately, I missed that session, but the final blow was delivered by Brutus, a Doberman working as an enforcer to the don. Brutus completely shattered Alberic's pelvis with the final punch.
I've played several iterations of owlfolk knowledge cleric, but this one in particular holds a special place in my heart. Owloysius got roped entirely against his will into the service of the rodent mafia, led by Don Pecco Rino.
I took the time to calibrate the PLA-CF that came with my 3D printer, and I gotta say, I’m definitely impressed.
I remember seeing a meme like this back in the day, but I figured I'd recreate it myself in a few minutes rather than spend hours looking for it.
The Sons of Nocturne shall heed The Emperor’s call. At this point, the only #Warhammer40k model I’m missing out of this army is the Captain with Jump Pack. I might also pick up the Salamanders Primaris Upgrades and Transfers. Into the Fires of Battle, Unto the Anvil of War!
I picked up these two on my way home from FWA. I saw them both together, the only foxes on their shelf. I bought one of them, but felt so bad about separating them after a few miles, I turned around and went back to pick up the other. I especially love their embroidered toe beans. x3
Chump didn’t write Art of the Deal. Hell, I’m not even entirely convinced he can read at all.
As always, my favorite pastime at any convention is taking photos of the fursuiters. I’m even building the habit of taking photos of con badges so I can tag folks like @howiebluejay.bsky.social @captainreno.bsky.social, @dtzdragon.bsky.social, @naomiwicker.bsky.social, and @roscoecorgi.bsky.social!
I could very easily be wrong about this, but at first glance, it looks like the only thing that the Canvas upgrade to the Elegoo Centauri Carbon lacks to effectively turn the Centauri Carbon into the Centauri Carbon 2 is the dome lid.
Rather than yelling at the social media intern, let's focus our ire where it should go.
