Hey google, let me get rid of this without turning on video chatting with whatever your stupid new app is.
I'm gonna play a little loose with the term "hero" on this one but I gotta follow my heart
with credit to www.johntrafton.com/big-lebowski for some of the screengrabs, a great article about how The Big Lebowski explores and relates to the city's geography
Gonna call it brushes down on this tyranid kill team! I'm happy with it. I stalled out on it for a while as my hyperfixations rotated but here we are.
"'Kippers for breakfast, Aunt Helga? Is it St. Swithen's day already?' 'Tis,' replied Aunt Helga..."
Been playing The Adventures of Elliot and title aside, and it's been a fun game so far. It's gaming comfort food for exactly me, though, so YMMV
Getting prepped for some video shoots for an online course we're planning to deliver in... August. Not pictured: stand lights and greenscreen that are already in my office.
Got a colony of these little guys guarding the front door 🦎 Although now that I look it up apparently the common term for a group of lizards is a Lounge, so that's fun
My immediate thought was "100 listens... so any album I liked for a year when I was a teenager, that's still a lot of options" so maybe the weirdest one I could pick using that criterion is:
Always funny when the sponsors are the largest text on a jersey like in soccer. If you didn't already know, it looks like the "Fly Betters" from the Emirates just won a thing.
14/128 The Demon is a great character, and nightmare makes the health cost of buying items more meaningful than it sometimes is at lower difficulties. This run cooperated very well for a strong elemental build so it was pretty smooth sailing all the way through.
13/128 The Creature. So, in nightmare mode the "boom or bust" aspect of runs is strongly amplified. This is usually an easier character in regular modes but the added difficulty of cursed enemies can get you into trouble in mid-run nightmare. But get past it and you're back to smooth sailing.
12/128 The Bull. Super easy normally, still very easy on nightmare. It felt like pretty good luck, but when you discard all weapons from the item pool it's just going to be easier to find good items. But this was a very cooperative run.
11/128 Well-rounded. I can't get this character off to a good enough start with any ranged weapons so I intended to run hatchets, but the game tossed me lot of random stuff this run. It all worked out ok, but on nightmare mode ranged weapons are weak starts if the char doesn't give them bonuses
10/128 Masochist. This character + shields has always been an easy run at lower difficulties, and it stays that way on nightmare. Possibly the easiest run so far on nightmare.
9/128 Mage. The Icicle is probably the best elemental weapon overall and a good choice for nightmare. Burning damage isn't that great until you get a lot of it which is why I like the icicle, but the greek fire item instantly makes it a boss killer.
