In other news I started reading Eoshinki (어신키) in KKP last night (and some more this morning). It’s really good so far!! The premise is neat, too!!

Illustrated cover page for the Korean web novel 어린 신인데 키워주시죠. The main character is a guy nestled almost various electronic devices and he’s looking directly at the viewer with a stoic expression. He’s wearing a blue and black uniform and has black hair and eyes. There’s a light blue blob creature (with two black dots for eyes and a line mouth) riding on-top of his left shoulder and in the upper right there appears to be a white lamb hanging out of a tv screen.

Cool feather spotted on the way to work today 🪶

Arts and crafts are my passion (just spent over half my lunch break doing this for a family member’s 10th birthday lol)

My beloved banana royale from 2025. It’s a clear plastic cup (tall) filled with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce, chocolate sauce - in four sides of the circle there is one piece each of two bananas cut in half vertically. The top is a large, nearly overflowing dollop of whipped cream in between the structually fortifying bananas, with chocolate sprinkles and a bright red maraschino cherry on top.

Lrt reminded me of what Eloise did earlier today when she saw some random cat in our front yard lol

A cat is standing up VERY tall on her hind legs; you can’t see it because a window shade blocks her top half but her front paws are braced on a window. Her tail is held half aloft, the tip curled upwards.

Serene creature

My cat, Eloise, sitting in a blanket nest (the outermost blanket is blue and visible) on my bed with her head held slightly aloft; here eyes are closed, face relaxed. She’s a mostly white cat with tabby markings on her ears and to of her head, and splotches on her side of the same markings. There’s an outdated calendar from NASA hung on the wall in the background- it’s on December 2024 because it has a beautiful picture of Earth from space.

I finally got to try one of these!! They’re tasty, and are sweeter (than the green ones)! Still somewhat sour, too, but that’s ok because I love green kiwifruit, too!

A clear plastic container of four organic sungold (yellow) kiwifruit from Zespiri; there’s thin cardboard wrapped around the entire plastic container that has that same info, including a boast that these fruit have three times the vitamin C of an orange. The container is on a wooden counter top in a kitchen, in front of a red orange metal breadbox.

The top half of one of the sungold kiwis (camera is zoomed in on it) showing the brown bumpy skin doesn’t have kiwifruit “fur” like its green counterparts; there’s a sticker (half white, half yellow) on the fruit for the company “Zespiri Organic Sungold 9-3279 New Zealand” followed by a barcode.

One of the sungold kiwifruit has been cut up with a knife into five slices, revealing the yellow flesh and seeds inside the fruit. They’re arranged in an arc on a light blue square plate (small) with rounded corners.

Saw a face in the Costco food court today

My aunt wants to go to a museum in the LA area next weekend so I was looking up other things we can do, after - found a showing of Godzilla (1954) at 7PM, but I got vetoed - it’s too far (Seal Beach at the Bay Theatre) 😔 one day the stars will align (I’m going to keep an eye on this theatre)

First part of the showtime entry on the Bay Theatre’s website for Godzilla (1954) - it’s the movie’s poster, which has Godzilla wreaking havoc on the city with a blast from its mouth, people in fear below. “GODZILLA” in large all caps solid red font with white outline is under Godzilla but above the people. There are two fighter planes in the sky, which is dark.

It’s like 86 degrees Fahrenheit but I just saw a horizontal rainbow Guess it’s colder up there

The sky has cirrus clouds in a shallow layer across it like cobwebs obscuring one’s view but still allowing blue through. A contrail arcs from the bottom left up through the top left. In the center of the photo is a flat and wide band of rainbow light across the sky.

I say large but overall it’s small; large for an amphibian that I’ve seen, at least lol here’s a zoomed out picture for a better sense of scale

A large tree’s shadow hangs over from the top left over a river of water (manmade) that has murky green water (somewhat clear). The sky is partially reflected in its blue and white partial clouds also. There is a large frog in the center, mostly submerged. There are underwater plants and etc plant debris and tadpoles. Some plants shoot up in the bottom left foreground, from the water.

Just realized I forgot to share the frog (toad??) I saw last weekend at the Huntington Gardens

A large frog or toad is mostly submerged, but its head is above the water. The water is a greenish murky color but is that clear enough to that you can see the creature’s body is a light green with brown speckles (or vice versa). There are tadpoles also.
