Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) played this Ibanez guitar in the ‘70s. Do they all have that kind of decorative inlay somewhere?
I used to live near this place in St. Paul, Minnesota. Always wondered what went on in there.
If you relied on AI to design a Twins jersey script, this is pretty much what I'd expect. It even has that weird link between the w and i that make it look like "Turns." What do you think of the current road greys with the pinstripes?
Raices was a very good early RTF knock-off, a nice choice to share a bill with Miles. Summer vibes.
Action has Charles Tolliver replacing Moncur, but I still consider it part of the series. The cover looks kind of like a reversed negative of that Joe Farrell reissue cover from the other day, too.
I have the 1994 CD with this cover that looks like Jerry Garcia playing sax, but otherwise is boring by comparison. Elemental also used it for their reissue. Too bad.
The Mariners have had just 4 primary logos, but the 1987-92 logo looks like a high school student spent an hour playing with a program on their Mac. When I was a kid, I had the original logo on a shirt, just like Ted Bundy.
Before the 2015 season, Felix Hernandez and Robinson Cano were on the cover of Sports Illustrated, which declared, TIME TO BELIEVE. They wound up at 76-86. But this M's team looks like the most complete roster since the Gillick years. Knock wood.
Maybe her IG was a lie, or maybe the follow-up of how they got in touch again is embarrassing. I’ll say that this isn’t how I expected Bill’s handwriting to look, but here is her picture of his book inscription:
It's mainly an off-brand repress of the Riverside album called Chet, with "I Could Have Danced All Night" from Chet Baker Plays the Best of Lerner & Loewe.
Which one did you get? As special holiday caps go, the orange trim looks fine to me, but these two are better.
After some googling, I see that Craig Anderson was part of the the 1978 Whittaker expedition, the 1st US team to reach the K2 summit, although he wasn't chosen for the final ascent himself. Also the 1973 Morrissey team that climbed Dhaulagiri, where frostbite stopped him at Camp III. This is him:
@thatbootlegguy.bsky.social Aaron, do you recognize this guy? I think I've actually found your double.
