i was not excited for Brand New Day, the MCU has long run its course and become even retroactively tiring and not something I really put any stock into following. Even Spidey couldn't really save it for me, with how poorly Peters been handled in the MCU before this (continued)

Had fun laughing at Shaq Fu for the GameBoy with a friend, realising crouch kicking was a sure fire way to win every fight was funny. This is not a good game at all in the slightest, the only praise I can give it is that the animation is pretty good but that goes for all versions of it. Not good.

Played through X-Men Mojo World for retrocheevos and it sure is a 1996 Master System (& Game Gear) game. Just really janky and kind of odd and not great, but not atrociously awful either. I can imagine someone having fond memories of this. Funny to remember this released the same year as the N64.

Issues 4 and 5 bring a nice conclusion to the first tpb and overall are just fun with a great fight and what feels like setup to something really interesting. Noticed TPB Vol.3 is out of stock on retailers I've checked nearby so I'm gonna put off reading more for now (i have vol 2.)

Issue 3 of Immortal Thor was a lot of fun, nothing big in scale but I enjoyed Thor having to play along with Loki's games. I also really, really, REALLY like how Loki is written and designed. If Loki is like this in any other comics I need to read those too.

video games will also be talked about, though I don't have much to say here - TMNT Fall of the Foot Clan on Game Boy is a. not that great game I have weird fondness for. I decided to go and get all the retro achievements for it. I had no idea this game had bonus stages before this. strange game.

I haven't read an ongoing series since I was last caught up on IDW Sonic so finally getting back to it with The Immortal Thor is a treat. So far the first two issues have been really fun as an introduction to where Thor is right now and the imposing threat of the elder gods of Utgard -

I was at a very LEGO time in my life in May, because I also finished the new LEGO Batman. This is everything I've wanted for years out of both a new Batman AND a new LEGO game. Its a really funny time solo and a real joy to play multiplayer with younger family members. Its PG Arkham. Great game.

The Lego Movie is still just as funny to me as it was when I watched it in 2014, which maybe says more about me than anything but the film being such a good looking and incredibly animated even still is something I don't think is arguable by anyone. Its great. First movie I watched on 4K BR too

oops. Anyway late updates. Played in May: The Hitman WoA trilogy is always really fun to replay and try new, increasingly silly ways to assassinate targets. Really want to get to 007 First Light at some point

Watched on the 10th, Speed Racer is the most colorful, and eye catching movie I've ever seen. About the creation of art like itself, you need to make it despite the corporations who want total control of it, art is still beautiful. It also has the humor of a spy kids movie. Favorite of all time.

I have a few movies and games I need to hurry up and add here but I need to add Daredevil (the theatrical cut) rn. My friend's birthday movie and the most DVD movie of all time. Everyone is out to look as cool as possible regardless of the situation, nothing is more important than the rule of cool.

(I forgot to update this for a few days my bad) doin a quick Plasma Sword arcade playthrough to show it to a friend at the end of May 4th (well, may 5th since it was past midnight) was a fun way to end the day. Really fun to play fighter that doesnt feel too complex to just start playing casually.

To avoid spoilers for anyone who has not yet seen the finale for season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, I will instead sum up my entire thoughts of this season in only four words: its so fucking good.

The most suprising thing of last night's May the 4th Star Wars rewatch was the fact my parents: who disliked Star Wars when it first released, disliked it 20 years ago during the prequels releases - actually ended up enjoying the movie quite a bit so thats interesting to think about. Fun movie ofc.

i know little about Warhammer 40k so I'm not sure how well represented everything is as a whole but what I can say about Warhammer 40k Space Marine is that this is one of the most Xbox 360 video games of all time. Just a very unimpressive but fun, switch brain off shooter I wish he wore the helmet

Dunno what I'm supposed to say about Batman Year One that hasn't already been said a hundred times, it's foundational as a modern retelling of both Batman's and Commissioner Gordon's origin story. I love David Mazzucchelli's art for the book a lot, the cover for part 4 is one of my favorites.

(whoops I forgot to put this one on here) Darkstalkers arcade playthrough as Felicia was fun. Huitzil was absurdly difficult to the point Pyron was kind of a pushover in comparison. Fun game and great for Capcom's first non-Street based fighter, its two sequels absolutely improve on it though

I have no idea why I've always had a strange facination with the Power Rangers SNES game. I have never seen a full episode of the series, the game is fun but really basic for late 1994 and the final boss is a really annoying underbaked 1v1 fighting section with their mecha. Love the music though.
