Some longbow field arrows I made for a club colleague. 325-350grn weight with 70grn arrow points (by Tippingpoint Archery in Italy), shafts are spruce 30”, 35lb spine. I’m sure he won’t lose these!

Some tapered longbow arrows I made last week. 1st time using alcohol inks and spliced feather fletches. Port Orford Cedar shafts, TopHat 80grn points. 32lb spine, 365grn weight., 28.5” length. Point on target at 60yds. Don’t like the spliced fletches though.

A whistling longbow arrow; port orford cedar shaft, helical fletches, Bearpaw 250grn point and a cresting scheme loosely based on a rainbow eucalyptus; a tree I have spent a decade trying to grow from seed and last year I succeeded. Will loose it in a few weeks when I can shoot outside again!

Multicoloured pheasant like bird in Kew Gardens yesterday. Very tame and inquisitive. Saw one there 15 years ago thereabouts.

Lemon and lemon flower on my lemon tree in London

Budding lemon and lemon flower. Flower is off white colour with 6 outer petals in a cross formation and 20 or more inner petals with pollen tips. There is a large bud in the crown. A small budding lemon is to the left of the flower and both are surrounded by leaves.

Another different set I’ve made for 80yds and above. Cresting loosely inspired by the Scarlet Slippers these are made of Spruce, 28” long, 70 grain points and hand cut feathers. For my English Longbow. #arrows
