We are doing NNM, but also using complementaries for the shadows (green) also by layering intensity but never quite getting to the colors with white in it. That plus hatching and I think I'm finding my style, tho it'll take me a long time to make a full army with it.

Test No. 1 of using UHU for miniature gore: looks good! UHU dries real fast, and there aint no big difference in texture between the first picture (mix of UHU with paint) and the second (UHU applied and then painted once dry), so the second method is best (you get cooler shapes w/more "strings")
