@fuzzbrothers
Just us being cats. Ps, we only follow other cats, dogs doing silly stuff (so, all dogs), other small creatures of interest to cats like frogs and bunnies, and whatever else cat whimsey suggests.
Mackers doing a black cat invisibility trick (but forgot about his tail, again)
And also, kitty mani-pedi day for Mackers. Rewarded for good conduct with two yummy protein puffs.
Kitty mani-pedi day for Scuppers. Rewarded for good conduct with nice big pinch of catnip.
There’s a roast chicken in the fridge that is not coming out for breakfast.
Likes: meals, snacks, treats, ritualistic offerings of food he won’t even eat, crumbs he can snuffle off the floor, belly rubs, goodnight hugs, brother-cat mackers, boxes, blanket forts, chasing laser dots and hairbands, naps, and lounging in sun-splashes. That’s 90% of it, anyway.
It’s windy today, so Mackers is making sure his brother doesn’t blow away (not realizing that his brother has the flight characteristics of a 12 pound kettlebell)
Cute kitty, or gimlet-eyed boss-cat waiting for his cut of the roast chicken?
I’m sure if Mackers just applied himself, he’d be able to reach all the way around.
Mackers is bravely monitoring the house next door in case any workmen appear in the backyard. At which point he will bravely run away….
We had some workmen inside the house today, so I built the fuzzbros an extra-secure bunker where they could hide. Dark, reinforced with brick and mortar, lined with towels, covered in blankets. The workmen are gone but they’re still in there.
The good thing about this box is that one’s head is perfectly aligned to monitor food preparation in the kitchen.
Fireworks are booming all around us, but the fuzzbros are taking it all calmly. Just another ho-hum evening. All the loud construction at the house next door for the last year has conditioned them, I guess.
Just because they’re monotone as individuals doesn’t mean they can be stripy if they work together.
Enough of cats. Here’s some amazing early evening sunshine angling underneath rain clouds to light up these geraniums.
People keep saying “it’s not yet dinner time,” or some such claptrap. It quite grates on one’s nerves, to be perfectly frank.
Mackers has been a nervous little bug all morning because of the noisy workmen next door. But he finally collapsed.
