Bc wildfires are worse because of drought and climate change. They are making the air unhealthy
What planet do these oil loving politicians live on? Tatooine?
I’m reading “Saving us” by Katharine Hayhoe. Good read! Take this page where she explores how energy can transition at no net cost.
Don't let Carney tell you "Canada needs to grow fossil fuel production to grow our GDP". ourworldindata.org/co2-gdp-deco...

A reminder that the government requires pipeline companies to send safety notices to residence because pipelines are not safe.
Modern Heat pumps are really much quieter than previous generations. here is our solution.
Given the growth of renewables displacing coal power worldwide it is silly to argue that LNG is "displacing polluting coal power" Canada continues to argue that their LNG is necessary, while solar and wind are cleaner, cheaper and worldwide they are displacing more coal. #cleanEnergy
Heat pumps permanently displace burning polluting gas and oil. Better health, better heat.
Excited to see "Account Balance" going away for Electrify America. Having to have a balance on each charging network was a barrier to access. Thank you @electrifyamerica.com www.youtube.com/shorts/h-vzo...
Sitting at a restaurant with the windows open in downtown Vancouver, the traffic outside on the street is extremely quiet and I think part of that is because there are more and more EV’s. Of course, one noisy car spoils it all. EVs equal nicer dinners out?
The other day we saw a construction site using starlink to connect the traffic signals.
Today I got so close to a wind turbine in PEI. It was so cool. And very huge.
Canadian energy stations need to wake up to the reality of EVs and provide EV charging or, like this picture, their potential customers will pass them by leaving them empty.
There is no "silver bullet" when it comes to climate change. We need ALL the solutions. Ember has a comment about the positive impact EVs are having right now.
Hey folks Eddie Gardner, Sqwá First Nation Elder passed this along. (so you know it will be good :-) ) In #Chilliwack on May 31st there is a film screening at the Cultural center. $10 per seat is a fair price for Justice work.
I popped into the local grocery store to get hamburger buns tonight. And in the first couple rows, I saw 10 EVs. I love how electric vehicle vehicles are actually starting to catch on. I’ve been watching this for years. You really need this to reduce local air pollution, and by climate change
I love that more and more Canadians are catching on to the truth that backing in is a safer practice because when you go to pull out, you have better visibility and situational awareness. And yes, every one of these cars belongs to a healthcare worker.
We had a really good time yesterday in Mission BC at the Earthday event. We prepped some infographics highlighting the intersection of affordability and climate action. Win win ! :-) Here they are:
We made Canadian suburbs that require cars 🚗 for access. Families have needed to own more cars per capita over time. #abbotsford #mission #chilliwack
