SDCC. I’ll be signing THE ROCKETEER: INFILTRATOR! and TWILIGHT ZONE at the @idwpublishing.com booth Thursday from 11-11:45. This is my only appearance at the con.
It’s #PortfolioDay. I only draw interiors for comics that I also write but I’m available for covers. Here are some recent examples.
Here’s my cover for The Rocketeer: Infiltrator #1. Colors, inks and sketch. I’m writing the series with art by Dean Kotz. First issue is out now.
BATMAN/GREEN ARROW/THE QUESTION: ARCADIA #4 is in shops today. Written and drawn by me. Colors by Romulo Fajardo jr. Letters by @simonbowland.bsky.social. This is the finale. I’d love to do more with any of these characters.
Got my cops for BATMAN/GREEN ARROW/THE QUESTION: ARCADIA #4 — the final issue. Written and drawn by me. Colors by Romulo Fajardo jr., letters by @simonbowland.bsky.social. I’m very proud of the work we did on this book.
I don’t usually do a lot of preparatory art for my comics but I did draw character sketches (and one prop sketch) for my Twilight Zone issue.
I wrote and drew THE TWILIGHT ZONE #8 from @idwpublishing.com. Black & white. Stand alone story. I think it’s one of the best comics I’ve made.
Going through my mom’s belongings after she passed away I found a bunch of signed movie star photos she wrote away for as a kid. Here’s Kim Novak, Angie Dickinson, Natalie Wood and Piper Laurie.
This was really good. Really harsh. Too many animals getting hurt or killed for my taste but I recommend the book.
I’m very pleased to have had the chance to storyboard DISCLOSURE DAY and work with Steven Spielberg, one of my filmmaking heroes.
I’m in a crummy laundromat in Florida reading Looking for Mr. Goodbar. I’m either in the 1970s or in a Carl Hiaasen novel.
My first thought was fuck this audience for going to see some AI slop then I realized it was a different AI.
Received comps for my G.I. Joe Silent Missions: Crimson Guard issue. It’s a story of misplaced loyalty and I’m really happy with how it came out. Written and drawn by me, colors by @matthollingsworth.com. In shops next week!
This was fucking amazing. Small venue. We were 20 feet from Paul McCartney.
This weekend I saw A FACE IN THE CROWD at UCLA’s Billy Wilder Theater and NETWORK at the Egyptian. Both 35mm prints. UCLA’s print was beautiful. The Network print was rougher but the movie played great with the audience. Revival screenings are one of the best things about Los Angeles these days.
Here’s the lineart for my cover to The Rocketeer: Infiltrator! #1. I wrote the miniseries with interior art by Dean Kotz.
Here’s my cover for THE TWILIGHT ZONE #8! I’m writing and drawing this story of regret, redemption, and old Hollywood!
