I’ve tried a lot of React Native tools over the years. Most are fun for a week. A few made it into my daily workflow. I made a video about the ones I actually use to save time when building apps 👇
Testing a game is fun 🙃 You need to cover different platforms, different player levels, different devices... Think I need to figure out how AI can do all of that - any idea where to start the automation?
Running a Product Page Optimization test for the first time ✌️ My games CR isn't great, and instead of randomly trying things, I made a test in ASC: - Original page - Simply a new preview video - New screenshots Traffic split equally between the 3, let's see if there are any meaningful trends!
Not the most popular keywords, but trying to grow on some new ones like "acres" and ranking better on "stardew valley" ❗️Note: Don't directly use a competitor keyword or you get in trouble
Dear app store gods, please let this be another upswing and not just a few good days 🙏
My game finally hit $5,000/month. For a few weeks, I thought: “Nice, this is my new normal.” Then installs dropped again. Why? 👇
It's crazy how Fable creates these mockup + explanations for redesigning my game. Absolutely love what's possible today.
June 2026 income report for my mobile game Tiny Harvest 🌽 💰 $5,831 revenue 👥 6,145 new players Still blows my mind that this little farming game is becoming a real business.
Time to set up the next Tiny Harvest Season 😎 As always also creating an Apple Event. Easy way to get more attention!
Definitely seeing a relation between Apple giving Tiny Harvest traffic and in-app purchases. Distribution really is everything.
I built an AI voice notes app with React Native. And AI agents wrote most of the code. Call me a vibe coder, but this is how you build great apps in the age of AI 👇
When you suddenly remember how work feels after being occupied with life.
Are you building apps with React Native? You should probably target TV devices - it's one of the best choices you can make 👇
I reviewed 3 React Native apps from the community. No AI slop. Just real apps.
"Pay 2 win." Every player hates these games. Every indie dev fears these comments. And yet here I am, telling you that it’s probably the best way to monetize and actually make money with your app. Here’s why I still use in-app purchases in my game 👇
How hard is it to run a mobile game alone? Harder than building the game itself. Because building is just one part of it 👇
Received my very first invoice from @RevenueCat this week after years of using it. Happiest $36 I ever paid 🥰
You can't please everyone with your app 🤷♂️ It's something I recently learned, no matter what you do!
Finally, prepare for slow days 🫥 It's not always trending upward. I had days with just a handful of sales, and I had $300 days. Most likely my April will be slower as I have only 1/5 of the downloads again.
Even if you don't like IAP...people are used to them 🤷♂️ Everyone knows the meaning of diamonds as premium currency. Everyone has seen a season pass before. Everyone loves a highly discounted starter pack. Even if you as dislike micro transactions, they are still one of the best monetizations ✌️
Sometimes you get lucky! For a short period, downloads jumped from ~30/day → 150–200/day. I had no idea what changed, but most likely: Apple pushed/featured the app, as the "App Store Browse" was way higher than usual. Apparently that didn't last long - let's hope I can get their again soon 😂
My indie game made $2,500. Not life-changing… but enough to completely change how I think about building apps. Here’s what it learned so far 👇
I made a tiny change to my App Store page… and suddenly more people started downloading my game 😍 Your App Store page decides if people even try your app 👋
I lost over half my players in the first 10 minutes of my game. This is how I (hopefully) fixed the leaking bucket 😅
Launched my first live community event 🐰 For 14 days, players can find random eggs on their farm and get rewards, while working together on the global goal of collecting 100k eggs 🔥 Might have set the number a bit low, the game has been growing rapidly lately 🙃
Got access to @RevenueCat new AI feature Rico. Love how I can just chat with it in Slack about my games products 😍
