My brother’s early bday present to me.

Last night, I decided today would be market prep day. My mom gave me this skein of yarn, and when I saw it, I thought frog stress balls. I sell these for $5 and they do well. #crochet

I’m finishing up the last of my lessons this morning and my dog decided she needed to be very close to me.

Completely cleaned, conditioned, and water proofed sandals. Way less spotting in leather and more even coloration of leather.

Step 3: Waterproof the leather. I waterproofed on both sides of each strap and all around the welts.

Step 2: Condition the leather. Finn Comfort’s sandal straps are leather on the inside (foot touching part) too so these sandals need more conditioner.

Today was an excellent thrift day. No, didn’t find any board games, but I did find an extremely high end pair of sandals. Check out my new Finn Comfort Sausalito sandals. They typically retail at $310 and I paid $8. Time to clean and restore the leather. #thrifting

Before my dad passed away, he made sure my mom got survivor benefits from his state pension. My mom puts the $ in a special account and only spends on family things. As an early bday present, my dad bought me some very nice sandals.

Decided I really wanted to crochet a ponytail/messy bun hat. All I can say is I’m glad I got that out of my system. This was not enjoyable to make. There is nothing wrong with pattern or tutorial. I just found the whole process tedious. #crochet

Today, I wasn’t going to stop at a thrift store, but my bladder had other ideas as I was driving by a thrift store. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Had to answer the call of nature and b/c I was already in the store, I had to check out the games. Both games are complete and cost me a total of $4 plus tax. #boardgames

My mom and her husband are coming next week. In an effort to keep certain media from contaminating well established algorithms in this household, I feel the need to engage parent lock…to protect my parent and her husband. These apps came preloaded on my new TV w/no option to delete.

Hubby and I typically don’t play a lot of roll and writes. I’m happy to report that we both enjoyed Clans of Midgard and would play again. Hubby won 92 to 86.

This t-shirt yarn makes great baskets. I crocheted this basket yesterday and liked it so much, I decided to keep the basket instead of putting in my sales bag for craft markets. #crochet

When we got my dog, she was losing hair. Two different vets said it wasn’t mange or like. It’s likely b/c of stress/hormones. We give her 2mg of a melatonin ea night to stimulate hair growth. Makes her tired. Vet says we can give up to 3mg, which we’re doing tonight b/c fireworks. #dogsofbluesky

Just finished a game of Lockup by @thunderworksgames.bsky.social This is a great game. Had a lot of fun setting up turns to gain big points later. Ended up winning by 5 points. #boardgames

I went to the furniture section of the store so I could use a table to count the game bits. The sales clerk tracked me down and brought me Cards Against Humanity along with Expansions 1&2. So awesome! I ended up spending $71 total and so happy! #thrifting
