One weird thing about being born in 1971 is that the year 2029 will ALWAYS sound futuristic to me, even if it's only 2.5 years away. It will likely still sound futuristic even when it's in the past.
On an over-arching story level, why make Edward Kenway in Black Flag the grandfather to Connor Kenway (and later Desmond's distant relative). Why care about genetic lineage if THE ENTIRE REASON FOR THE GAME, GENETIC MEMORY LINEAGE, FROM THE ALIENS, is being THROWN OUT by Ubisoft.
Still bummed out that it seems like Ubisoft is removing all of the Animus and Isu plot lines from any new and now revised Assassin's Creed games and it feels super wrong to me like
