I tinker, I fix stuff, I break stuff.
This is how I first saw Star Wars. 21 hr bus trip to La Grande Motte , France in 1982. Carpet tv rules!
My really nice neighbour a couple of doors down just called round all upset because another dickhead neighbour who hates cats has installed these spike strips on their shared fence between them. Any UK legal eagles out there that can help guide (Not AI )? I hate to think of cats getting hurt.
8 track cartridge bundle Bought for two specific ones. The rest can go back on auction.
I have some great work colleagues “The singing machine” A karaoke CRT thingy.
Very crackly, never do get good reception in this room, so this is very good. Managed to get MW 909 to play some Radio 5 Something about England losing a football match 🤷♂️ Onto the shelf it goes. It’s a worker.
Time to test the Alba 243 transistor radio I picked up at the boot sale yesterday. Mocked up a bench power supply with a multi DC adapter set to 4.5v and some clips. I really need to get a bench supply one day. www.radiomuseum.org/r/balcombe_a...
Bootleg Saudi tapes And some cheap 10p vhs. Thats all folks.
I have this already, but this copy is in better condition.
Some therapy device. I’ve offered this FOC to Backoffice Show
Found loads of bootleg Saudi cassettes at the boot sale 6 for £1 deal and the guy said take another 2… ok I’ll keep the top row but the others have gone on Vinted.
Charity shop finds Unique Hancock LP and a boxed famiclone.
Three CEX bags “aka lucky bags” full of goodies from the boot sale.
Kitten update. It’s been a while, they’re nearly 3 now This one lives with my brother in law.
Found a real oddity at the boot sale today for £1. The Police - Synchronicity , silver mirror finish. No sleeve, and the B side is unrelated. Police sticker looks in perfect shape just like regular LP one I have. Maybe it was sprayed, but the finish is superb I’ll make it into a clock perhaps.
Picked up this tip a while back. Place string inside a full water bottle and have the string trail out and onto the earth. The water will climb up and down the string and ever so slowly drip feed the plant Ideal if you’re away for a week etc.
