GAMEYE
@gameyevg
GAMEYE is a free, revolutionary way to track every aspect of your videogame addiction. Track what you own, what you’ve beaten, lookup prices and more!
Putting out a call for any talented writers who would want to make an article for GAMEYE! The hero banners in the app (in beta) and now the banner on the site are controlled via an on site tool. Like a small Wordpress engine. Let me know your idea if you're interested!
Switch/2 is still absolutely dominating (our small sample size of beta testers ~2.5k) users collecting habits. Can't wait to see what it looks like when everyone joins!!!!
Lots of big moves on the website this week! * Collection landing page almost done * Can update email address * Can export CSV * Can share link to collection with privacy settings * Submissions can be sent back to user with notes as "needs work" What's left for sync?
Some interesting results on our "popular games" section today! I doubt this will still happen once sync is open to everyone. But still an interesting insight into our beta users (about 3k people).
1/ 5.08.00 out for both Android and iOS! The update pushes massive cart scanner improvements particularly for Android -- iOS could still be tighter but works like a champ. For sync, we are getting extremely close. You can now add and edit items on the website, though a bit clunky atm.
We've got a dedicated front-end dev who is a wizard and finally taking us across the finish line for sync being released to the public! 2 more screens and it's ready! (Yes night mode will be default). You can see collection and hltb data finally being displayed all nice-like lol
In terms of our beta-testers (~2k), only Expedition 33 is a hotly collected item outside of Nintendo's offerings. I can't wait to see the kinds of interesting details we can show once everyone can sync with the website!
Can anyone figure out what the next feature is (while we all patiently wait for sync) coming to mobile devices based on this very subtle image?
So close! Mostly web site stuff we want to look better and then it's time for SYNC!
Let's give away some pins... again! Share this post to enter -- comments are good too :)
I just found this receipt for an iPod touch which I used to teach myself iOS development before there was even an app store! I never save stuff like this so shocked to find it
There's only like 150 of us with our collections syncing to the site and yet 3 of us (including me!) have this game wishlisted
