Brett Hennrich has seemed sus ever since he's been running in WA-3 as a guy originally from Portland, went to LSU, now building cinemas in Vancouver. I don't know how to find out who is behind candidates but right now he seems to be unofficially supporting her opponent.

No, I do not in any way endorse #MGPisGOP. She does not deserve another term to stab us in the back while at the same time collecting lifetime benefits as she will get over year 5 of service. Do not vote for MGP unless she earns it.

Good year (so far) for tomatoes.

Went tidepooling.

Two barnacle covered rocks leaning against each other with a bit of seaweed of unknown type on them. Where the rocks meet, on each rock there is a purple starfish with their backs to each other. The starfish on the right is reaching one arm backwards to towards the starfish on the left. Underneath is a dark damp rock with broken seashells and more seaweed.

Shanaincle: My toddler’s (40 pounds) pediatrician said she should be forward facing by now. I told her the carseat is rear facing for up to 50 pounds, per the car seat’s instructions. She seemed quite surprised that I knew that offhand. Yeah she’s staying rear facing for every ounce of those 50 pounds.

These are from a Captain America comic by Ta-Nehisi Coates that was in print 12/2020-1/2021. The context is a discussion about steel mills closing and America becoming soft and Hydra taking over. (Hydra promises safety but is the bad guys).

Rainier cherry blossoms - these are WA specific edible cherries that are yellow with pink shoulders. I have been told that they don't travel well so that if you aren't fairly local you won't get to try them.

So the feature exhibit at Seattle Asian Art Museum really is all that.

Intricately cut metal cube lined with turquoise fabric with a light bulb suspended in the center hung from the ceiling at 45 degree angle to room with magenta walls, dove grey ceiling and glossy brown floor. Shadows from the cutwork reflect in every direction with an appearance of increased scale in the corners of the room.

Seattle suburb gas...

Grocery store gas station with regular at 5.09/gallon and 5.29/gallon and 5.49/gallon for better quality gas and 6.79/gallon for deisel. On the other side of the street, the lower half of another gas station's sign shows 5.59/gallon for premium and 7.29/gallon for diesel.

Unknown short plant reddish leaves and burgundy stems, each leaf has three segments and jagged edges. At 7 o'clock close to the ground there are some smaller leaves that are darker and shinier. At 5 o'clock there are some leaves coming from the same plant that are bright green with red tips.
