Firstly, thank you for defining that because I am too old to understand any word ending in -max. Secondly, I'm not very good at that. Usually it's me pausing a game to watch a clip, or stopping what I'm doing at work to send a text. Best I can do is replay a game as I rewatch a show.
I can sleep to music, but earbuds are super uncomfortable to me for extended periods so probably not like that.
Honestly right now it's probably around 12 hours on a normal day, probably more once my mom goes back home. 🫣 8 hours at work + 4 hours games/TV/phone.
Absolutely! I'd spend nearly that long in one just preparing for the vacation anyway.
I am truly the Pandora of our time. 😔 I used to be addicted to Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia but that shut down and thankfully Square Enix doesn't like making fun mobile games anymore so I'm safe.
Computer technically because of work but if we discount that, it's probably my TV screen since that's where the games live.

Besides the obvious drink water, find shade, etc., I find that whining loudly about the heat can lower body temp a solid 5 degrees.

My immediate family was large when I was forced to visit my dad because of all the stepkids. I was the oldest until they adopted my sister, but the actual child abuse was usually worse than being around too many siblings. Having other kids around actually made it easier to avoid heat sometimes. 😅
I'm not close to most of mine either. I have one "full" sister and she's the only one I have contact with, but we don't talk much. My only other blood sibling (that I know of) is a half sister I haven't talked to in ~20 years. I also had step-siblings (and might again idk) and an adopted sister.
Of course! I think this is really central to the gay experience, but even straight people do this when they marry and have kids. True, close family is always chosen, even if they're related by blood.

I don' tolay a ton of either, to be honest. I've always really loved Cards Against Humanity if that counts for card games. For board games, I like most word games and also Betrayal at House on the Hill.
They're all hot but... Jecht is a dysfunctional alcoholic and bad dad. A one and done kind of guy. Hesphaestus is kind of a sourpuss but as far as godly flaws go that's pretty tame. He's a literal god & I could stomach him long term. Iron Bull is an actual spy and I would not trust his loyalties.
HD2D is pretty but it has to evolve beyond novelty now. We're still seeing the same style of spritework in new HD2D games as we did in the original Octopath. It's beautiful, granted, but a bit played out to me now. It's like the prevalence of anime-styled games, they just lack some identity.
Well we have next to no info about it, so I have next to no thoughts. 🤭 I will say (and this is probably controversial) that OoT has not aged well and I don't find it a particularly interesting game. I'd love to see a ground-up remake/reimagining so I hope that's the direction they go.
I think Tifa from FFVII. She's just a pretty normal person and she's caring and strong when she needs to be.
I've never played a Legacy of Kain but I hear good things. I'm with you on Soulslikes and limited save files for the most part though.
