Playing with Apple Intelligence in iPadOS 27 I've used the first image below as wallpaper on my phone. I edited it in the Photos app and extended it to create the second image. I asked Siri to make the people face the viewer but it couldn't. (Yet.) But ChatGPT had no problem.

Playing with Apple Intelligence in iPadOS 27 Looking through some of my Photos, I got to this one and asked Siri, "What am I looking at?" I not only found out where I'd taken it, with a description of the business, I also got a map to show me how to get back there.

I installed iPadOS 27 last night and opted to join the waitlist. Then this morning I switched my iPad Mini 7 to US English language and US English Siri voice and some time after it downloaded a voice upgrade to Siri, it was usable. So far I've only had the time to ask it what it was capable of.

The new Siri app in iPadOS 27 dev beta, showing the result of asking it what it can do. It replied as follows:

Pink and white blossom on a tree. Most blossom seems to come and go before the leaves are out, but not this lot. I've always associated this mix of pink, white, and green as indicating an apple tree. But Apple Photos told me it's a plum tree. I should have tried asking Plum Photos.
