This Thursday, April 30, I’m launching my new book of poetry, Who Else in the Dark Headed There, in Victoria with Ali Blythe, Melanie Siebert, and Anne-Marie Turza. I love these people dearly and can’t wait to share the night with them—and with you. Doors at 6:30. Come early for dinner and drink.

Delphine is two-and-a-half years old and expressive as heck. I recorded this in March after receiving author copies of WHO ELSE IN THE DARK HEADED THERE, my newly published second book of poetry.

Thank you to everyone who came out to my Kelowna book launch on Tuesday. 60+ people attended—former teachers and classmates from elementary through high school, and family, including my aunt, cousin, and my father. This was the first literary event my father has ever gone to. That meant a lot.
