I think the heat has finally gotten to Percy. You can't see it in the shot, but there is a fan across the room blowing on him.

Just sitting here painting gas cans. Lots of gas cans. Lots of olive drab gas cans. And waiting for paint to dry.

Some WW2 gas cans in the process of being painted. First coat is down and done. Bottoms of cans are drying. Then a second thin coat. Some other crates and ephemera that will also end up loaded on a Sherman tank are in the background along with a bottle of black wash paint in the upper right (which I am not currently using).

One of the odd things I remember was Conrail had a bicentennial paint scheme on their GG1's.

I don't know if they still are in print but there were also the Myth Arc sets like Black Oil, Colonization, Abduction and Super Soldiers. They collect the episodes directly related to those Myth Arc themes. They are cool if you are interested in watching them like that.

It's another #Caturday and Percy has decided it is also a purrfect nap day. Here he is, sound asleep on *his* ottoman.

With the heat of the summer coming on he has become mostly nocturnal with playtime at night while we are sleeping (and occasionally waking us up at 3am to join him in his feline fun) and sleeping during a good part of the day. Though he does wake from time to time for a snack or to eat some of his wet food.

This is mine. As best I can tell, it was sold new somewhere between 1988 and 1990. It might even be earlier since they didn't change very much during the 1980s.

That's a good solid block. But for a statement like that, I'd want this one on top of it to make sure the individual who said it will never crawl out and see the light of day again.
