There isn't much on Steve Hanawa's tenure as president of Capcom Digital Studios, but here he is in the April 1995 issue of Video Games. Apparently it was rumored they were doing Street Fighter III in the US.

One of the graphic designers, "J.F. Sebastian," is credited on early Genki games. "I.T" are the first high score initials. The other initials match up with early Genki staff.
