I think kittens do better in pairs, so... you actually need 2 kitties! But for real, I've nicknamed our female cat Seratonin because she's such a silly gremlin. Always makes me laugh on bad days. And our himbo orange cat is a capybara who loves all other creatures. They're a real pick me up!

These two morons (affectionate) are pretty entertaining. Pics taken about 10 minutes apart. Also getting my dogs out for walks twice a day helps.

Here's my super senior in the same age range! We took him in Dec 2010, after his original owners left town and left him behind. He was 8-10 when he moved in with us. Needs help with grooming now and has a hard time keeping weight on but still rules the house with an iron paw.

That is in fact how I got these two. Orange guy hanging around half-feral for a few months, shows up one day with a 6 month old black female in tow. She moved into the house first and he didn't like being left out so eventually he followed.

Here are Molly (left) and Auggie (right). We found Auggie in the Snake River Canyon in February 2019, and Molly on the high sage prairie in Central Idaho on Thanksgiving 2023. No collars, microchips, and unable to find owners. They're best buddies and very good girls.
