Okay, so I retook it again and my results are WAY different.
Donkey Kong Land Remake Gave this a shot after hearing about it a couple days ago and it's really good! Happy that the level Sky High Caper was removed in this. Only real complaint I have is that the hit detection for jumping on enemies is a bit wonky sometimes.
Witch Hat Atelier Season 1 Decided to stop procrastinating on it and watched the first season with my friend, Kapus after he decided to watch it in his server. Honestly pretty good so far. Coco and Qifrey are my favorite characters so far.
Newer Super Mario Bros. DS (replay) Decided to replay this one after playing through Newer Wii for the first time and I still think it's great. The two are equal in terms of quality.
He's green for an amazing re-WHY IS MY KINDNESS PERCENTAGE 67!?
(🎨: @lilacskelly.bsky.social) I am totally normal about Green.
Yoshi buys a New Panasonic Blu-Ray Player is still a banger.
Okay, but has anyone recreated Game & Watch Chef with Green, Orange, and Aqua. #deltarune
Deltarune Chapter 5 I've completed my (I love Green) Deltarune journey for now. Honestly tied with Chapter 3 (I love Green) as my favorite. Tenna's my favorite character (I love Green), but Chapter 5 has the best set of characters so far. (Took two tries (I love Green) to beat Pink). I LOVE GREEN
Deltarune Chapter 4 Decided to continue on to Chapter 4 instead of taking a break, considering 3 and 4 were released at the same time. I think I vibe with chapters 2 and 3 more, but at the same time... Holy. Fucking. Shit. (It took two attempts to beat the Hammer of Justice.)
Deltarune Chapter 3 We now return to The Deltarune Show. Honestly, this might be my favorite one so far. It's a ton of fun and it might be the funniest Deltarune has been as of now. Tenna is my current favorite of the antagonists. (I can't believe it took 6 or 7 tries to beat the Knight.)
Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii Started my run last year, but was distracted halfway through World 2 by other things. Had to play it after playing Newer DS and I think it's way better than the original NSMB Wii.
Deltarune Chapter 2 Resuming my Deltarune adventure. I think I can safely say that Deltarune is better than Undertale. The battles, the music, the writing, pretty much everything felt like an improvement to Chapter 1. (Also beat Spamton on my first try; I think he's easier than Jevil.)
Doom Zero Pretty cool megawad! While the combat is still good, I do like the more puzzle solving elements the levels have, and that they feel more different that the Doom puzzles I've experienced so far.
Pomme seeing Lyssa's life beign taken over by Jax (/j)
Deltarune Chapter 1 After finishing Undertale, is it time to start my Deltarune adventure. So far, I think the gameplay is more interesting than the former, I like the setup's cool so far, and it's already funny as hell. (I beat Jevil on my first try.)
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc (GameCube Version) I started the year with a Rayman game, so I decided for the halfway point, I would play another Rayman game. I enjoyed how much this is like a hybrid with a platformer and a beat-em-up with an arcade score attack element. I love it as much as Rayman 2.
Duke It Out in D.C. Decided to play this for the 4th of July for some reason, and honestly, this is pretty mediocre. I don't know if I want to experience Smithsonian Terror again.
Undertale Over a decade later... I have finally played Undertale. And holy shit, it is such a special game. I got teary eyed during the True Pacifist finale. (I will never do a Genocide run. Ever. The only replay I will ever do is the Switch version to make a True Pacifist Mad Mew Mew timeline.)
Pride Month may be over, but I got a doodle before the end that I forgot to share. 🎨: @whimsybunnydoodles.bsky.social
Going Down: Turbo Even though I knew about Cyriak's bonkers animations, I didn't know that he made his own Doom megawad before. And it's a pretty funny one, as his chaotic energy is felt in the level design.
@leirinart.bsky.social Leirin gave me a sketch of my persona for giving them a support ko-fi.
Smash Remix I sampled this in the past with some CPU matches and training, but I decided to give the 1P modes a try. Honestly, this is one of my favorite hacks ever and my favorite Smash mod. I love how they took a game with a small number of fighters and stages and made it feature-packed.
Doom 64 (Nightdive re-release) I like it more than Doom 1. I still like Doom 2 more, but 64's lows aren't as bad as 2's. I love how colorful, yet creepy the environment is and the music adds to the creepiness. I wished the Lost Levels campaign had more levels and I felt the BFG got nerfed.
Duke Caribbean: Life's A Beach I felt like to kick off the summer, I decided to play this as my first Duke Nukem 3D expansion. And it's really good! I do love its summer vacation aesthetics.
Super Mario Advance (Replay) I like it more than the NES version, but I feel like this is the most a Mario platformer felt like a tech-demo. "Hey, remember the black-sheep Mario game that was a reskin? Let's port the SNES version, but more Mode-7 like graphics! More Mario elements! Voice clips!"
Duke Nukem 3D (via EDuke) Decided to finally play this game for this game's 30th anniversary. I think while I like Doom's combat a bit more, I really enjoy its interactivity and its style of exploration. Plus, Duke's quips are really fun.
Seeing all the Reflecting Pool jokes and I'm reminded of the one Civvie made in 2020.
