Today, I'm flirting with allium props. I bet you can smell this photo. Garlic bulbils are the seeds grown at the top of garlic scapes, if you let them develop. They take two year cycles to grow full size, but your garlic is larger and stronger. Also, they are just tasty. #GardenVarietyQueer

It's not bad, huh? Sponge cake with (homemade, obv) strawberry jam in between one layer and mango cardamom jam in between the other. That's supposed to look like a wave washing ashore, and those are dried mango roses around the base.

I was going to pick up the Rest of the dirt for five new garden boxes, today. It's nice and cool, finally. Except I breathed wrong and spent two hours with dislocated ribs, and it's actually a bit too cold for comfortable dirt slinging. But! My sand cherries are very happy. #GardenVarietyQueer
