I know how easy it is to forget that there are people behind the numbers. I track and report on death; Disassociating is a protective reflex. But never let yourself forget the brutality of war & disaster. When you block out the pain, you are detaching yourself from humanity.
What's even more disturbing about this kind of thing becoming a common occurrence is that there are people who will watch this and not only side with the ICE thugs, but say the old man deserved it. MAGA has got to be one of the worst cases of mass psychosis in modern history.
