I’m so proud of this illustration of my woolly bear character, Colonel Pillar, dealing cards in today’s comic strip. This was a lot of little action sketches and careful thought to get those three arms and the order of the cards landing right. ❤️

I’m often told (in a nice way!) that my newspaper comic ‘Breaking Cat News’ looks unlike any other comic folks have seen. I think it’s because I spent so many years studying and preparing to illustrate children’s books! Many panels are really just little tiny children’s book illustrations.

It was so wild, and during such a spooky, funny story! 😂❤️ Kathy is one of my favorite comedians, my whole night was made when she liked this comment, ahh!
