Software developer wha bides i the East Neuk. He/him. Likes 28/32mm models for role-playing games, especially pulp/steampunk/scientific romance. Thinks Scotland should be a normal country - independent. ,
This is my mini of the day. No particular reason. #jhbackdrops www.troublemakergames.co.uk/product-page...
Fudge doughnut, chilled in the fridge so the custardy middle is cool. Would tick both boxes.
Soup bowls, about 100 years old. Not a full set, there are three surviving; no more lost (yet) since I became the owner. Not particularly a soup fan, also used for pasta, etc.
Their soundtrack for Le Voyage Dans La Lune is also worth a listen (though quite different).
The first figure I painted for a specific RPG character - Malachi Stark, of New Jerusalem. Late 1980s, probably Essex Miniatures.
Each probably painted about 35 years ago. Don’t think either have changed pose since then, which seems pretty defiant! The Celtic chief is 15mm. #jhbackdrops
Gomnies. From Rupert and the Gomnies, where Gregory Guinea Pig can’t read very well and mispronounces a word.
This ticks the box for the first two. I can’t actually remember the first album I bought with my own money. (First single was Kraftwerk’s Tour de France).
