Here's what I want to be careful about: There are two things I did learn about Tavern. The first is that it had a funding round led by Bloomberg Beta. The second is that the org lists its founders. We shouldn't jump to conclusions, but someone should ask why the campaign thinks AIPAC funded it.
I've done a bit of digging, and there's no link coming up anywhere. Tavern is a left-of-center research firm funded by private seed funding that's done polling in many places. Matt Yglesias (I know) is somewhat connected and he said no one funded the poll.
