Coffee Rush is a very very cute boardgame. The art makes the vibes very cozy, but the mechanics are surprisingly tense, as you manage a worsening queue of orders with limited actions to acquire the required ingredients. Honestly it feels a bit like competitive Overcooked.

Today I read The Deviant which truly blinsided me, as I was not expecting something as dark and thoughtful from a premise like "Killer Santa"
Hot Streak is a fucking fantastic party game, but to truly be enjoyed, it requires a player (like me) who will commit to narrating the race with manic broadcaster energy.

Went fucking flying today in my dinghy. Not only was I going fast as all hell, I had the hull go almost fully vertical! Had an actual magical moment where a bunch of small fish were jumping out of the water all around the ship and following it.

Morbid Metal is extremely fun in the moment to moment combat (and also extremely pretty) but it definitely needs more variation between runs, I'm surprised that as of my third run I'd already seen most of the upgrade options you get. Still playing a lot of it though!!
