Fear cannot deter it,
logic failing with each fluttering heartbeat.

Butterflies in the belly,
pulse quickened at the thought of you,
lovesick smiles and girlish giggles with you.

I imagine life with you in it,
the thought of life without you foreign.

Welp, my cookies turned out more cakey like biscuits but they still taste delicious. I kinda saw it coming when I had to had to use a different type of flour than I usually use but I kinda like the new flour better despite some adjustments needing to be made.

A plate of cookies that ended up more cakey biscuit like instead of gooey cookie like. They are still very delicious.

Today has been rough. So, instead of focusing on that, spider lilies! Didn't know that we had them in my yard until I saw them some days back. I love spider lilies, so it makes me happy. Just wanted to share that little happy thing instead of being sad about things I can't change like I want to.

I still remember the way it felt when you held me,
the gentle tenderness with which your supposed love enveloped me,

I wish my heart could forget,

I never wanted to mourn you,
