Great conference today with LGBT Ireland on Addressing Invisibility in LGBTQIA+ Health and Social Care. I was there to present on the persistent gaps in our understanding of sexual minority women’s health and the importance of strengthening research, policy and practice in this area.

Today I’m honoured to receive a UCD Values in Action Award for fostering inclusion across and beyond the university. A very meaningful recognition of work grounded in equity, justice, belonging and the collective efforts of so many committed to making our institutions and healthcare more inclusive.

ECDC WHO report out this morning and it is worrying to see Ireland has the second highest rate of new HIV diagnoses in Europe. We have the tools to end new transmissions with U=U and PrEP, yet stigma, long waits for services and inequities in care continue to hold us back. #HIV #Ireland
