For no real reason I have not painted for 6 months. So to paint myself back into it, I looked out of the back window. Now onwards. (Click on the image)
🌱on the last afternoon of the school holidays, hundreds of people with children and dogs flocked to enjoy the last of the blossom in the Alnwick Gardens cherry orchard. Japanese music and lanterns. A real buzz, which was pretty cool.
🌱 After the daffs and primrose yellows, I get excited to see the blues of the humble Forget-me-not.
🌱I finally got to see the rui s of Pompeii. You will have seen many dusty pi ctures, but by going this time of year I was delighted by the wildflowers.
I got sidetracked reading about devastating international conflict, so was late with Teddy's lunch. (Apparently)

🌱Dogwood branches and primroses providing some glamour in my soggy Northumberland garden. So dull for so long my houseplants are fading from lack of 🌞.

We finally got to the Ad Gefrin museum in Wooler, which showcases local Anglo-Saxon heritage. Great facility, and nice to meet the yule goat in the carpark.
WIP acrylic surprise present for a friend. She has had a tough year, and her 18 year old cat died last month. I have the facial likeness. Now if there is any decent natural daylight over the next couple of days I can do the fun stuff.
