I decided to learn embroidery and my first project was some old jeans I stole from Eleanor. I’m really happy with how it turned out!
I’m can’t stop thinking about this. Weekend Update on SNL UK has been absolutely incredible every time but there’s something special about Scrimpch.
It was so nice of Winnie to make sure I didn’t have to do the work of opening my own presents on Mother’s Day.
My favorite 30 min of the week: refilling all the pill planners for everyone and contacting the pharmacy because inevitably at least one of our 10+ medications has probably run out
My dog does not approve of tornadoes in the middle of the night and was very eager to get back to bed. How dare Mother Nature interrupt her sleep???
My dog didn’t know what sport we were doing tonight, so she came with options.
Pupdate! It seems that waiting has paid off. We believe she has dodged the need for another surgery. A third day of X-rays tomorrow to confirm though. She did eat this evening though, which is the first time since Monday. So lucky she is cute though. I swear.
I bought a dress for Christmas to go with the cape and Kate did a mini photo shoot for me today!
Pupdate! Peggy had her surgical follow-up yesterday and got a clean bill of health. She is now allowed to go back to playing and using the stairs like a normal dog. She has also put on 2lbs since her surgery, so only 3 more to get back to her pre-incident weight.
Finally got the Christmas decorations up late last week… better late than never.
Peggy is slowly starting to perk up. She’s eating food and wagging her tail again. Still moving pretty slow and definitely underweight from the ordeal but so glad she’s on the mend.
The baby is home now. Surgery went well. Apparently she ate an entire pack of hair ties so that’s awesome. Also the princess can’t go up and down stairs and has to be carried. Also she can’t get wet so I have to find a way for her to go outside somewhere that isn’t covered in a foot of snow?
Waiting to go back for surgery. Please wish Peggy lots of luck while they figure out what the hell she ate that was so delicious it deserved to be more expensive than a Michelin star meal…
It should be illegal for me to have to lead meetings when it’s not even fully light out.
Some people feel like their families don’t understand them. Some people tell their families cloaks are awesome but not practical for real life so they don’t really need one and then their family buys them one for their 37th birthday anyway and tells them to find reasons to wear it. I’m some people.
It’s Sunday and you know what that means! Dogs. It means dogs. 💛💚🧀🏈🧀💚💛
