I just lost two of my lovely hens, Betty and Lucille in the past week. Of my original pre-Covid 12, they were the last two red-heads, surviving the bald eagles that mate and nest in our woods free-ranging everyday. RIP, you will be missed. My flock sure was prettier with some diversity and inclusion

We welcomed a new family member, Sophia, rescued from our local humane society. Turns out despite her Australian Cattle Dog appearance she is actually an Australian Kelpie. She is 1 yo, strongest 23.3 lb dog I have ever met. Acts like a Heeler, but turned up to 11. Such a sweet girl 💕
Brought home our latest family member, Sofie, from the shelter yesterday. Her markings are 100% Blue Heeler, but we think she has a lot of Kelpie in her as well. Super sweet girl, thank you to the local humane society for taking such great care of her. 💕
