Just noticed that this year’s Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene and Boise medals fit together. I feel like I just unlocked some unofficial Potato Challenge. Pretty cool detail.

Hi, Guillermo.

Current forecasts indicate hot conditions for race day. To help athletes manage the expected temperatures, we are adding additional cooling resources throughout the course. Athletes can expect to see the following:

Bike Course

Bike Aid Station 3 will provide Crystal Geyser neck gaiters soaked in ice water.

Transition 2

Ice water cooling tubs will be available for athletes to cool their arms and re-soak neck gaiters before beginning the run.

Run Course

All aid stations will be fully stocked with hydration and nutrition.

Additional cooling stations featuring ice water tubs will be located…

I'm supposed to race Ironman 70.3 Boise on Saturday and the AQI is… less than ideal. Not sure if I should pull the plug now (my hotel is refundable until midnight tonight) or take my chances and hope the air quality improves before race day. Bleh.

First full workout since coming back from Escape from Alcatraz. It's been surprisingly hard to recover from the race, but I think I'm getting there.

Fuck yeah, first outdoor run of the season!
