I saw one of these Heade magnolias on velvet (I don't think it was this one) not long after, which cemented it. It can barely be processed as painting and not window in person.
Klimt, Lady with a Fan (1917). One of the first pieces of art I saw in person having seen it in print and when realized that no photo does any painting justice. It glows.
I come home from playing Speed in Two Gents more or less as Benny Southstreet and what do I come home to but a That Girl with Johnny Silver.
Just juvenile goofiness to throw the kid off (or speak his language), I always assumed. #TCMParty #TheMusicMan
As we continue our post-performance That Girls (Thats Girl?) I feel the need to note a) the high quality of Lew Marie's oft-seen at-home cardigan and b) that more and more over the years I realize I Married Ann.

Rannygazoo's Top-Shelf Story Hour would like to clear up any confusion: Brenda Vaccaro will not be appearing with us on Monday, June 22 at 7:30pm at Vines Wine Bar & Spirit Shop, nor will any reference then be made to Midnight Cowboy, to How Now, Dow Jones, or to feminine hygiene ads, probably.
We should note that we (@broccoliserbaby.bsky.social & I) are at it again on Monday, June 22, if a lighthearted evening of song, short stories, and poetry are your idea of It. (If not, we assume you're Elinor Glyn.)
I'd like to share this pic of my wife's costume as Duchess Senior in this production of As You Like It we're doing. It's so well designed and I really dig it.
Post a poster you used to have in your room, apartment, or house. (I still have it but it isn't hanging up.)
Mine Calvinos are all over the place. Thanks again to the professor who created a "The Fantastic in Literature" course, one of the best things to happen to me in college.
BREAKING: Sonny Eclipse has withdrawn from the Freedom 250 Celebration
What are you favorite character introductions? (Shocked I hadn't seen this one yet.)
