Glasgow Sheep
@glasgowsheep
Dandy in Glasgow.
Sensational Idlewild In the stunning Kelvingrove Bandstand I love this venue so much, what a gig
Final stop. Started at the newest club to join the senior leagues in Glasgow and finish with the oldest club in Scotland. City Stadium aka Lesser Hampden home of Queen's Park
Hampden 2: Second Hampden then Cathkin Park home of long gone Third Lanark
Hampden 1: The original Hampden Park, now Hampden Bowling Club and the Cathcart Circle Line
Another stadium not in Glasgow despite being a stone's throw away from Celtic Park and Hampden, the crumbling ruins of Shawfield, once or Clyde FC
Vale of Clyde conjures up an image of flowing waters and lush countryside. Instead this:
Greenfield Park, home to Glasgow United who inexplicably changed their name from Shettleston Juniors a few years ago
Greenfield Football Centre. Someone said Finnart play here although seems to be a facility for you sides for Glasgow United
Budhill Park. Looks a brand new plastic pitch, sure that wasn't here last year. Home to Glasgow Girls and Saltire City who apparently are a new club playing in, for no good reason, the South of Scotland Football League
Stepford Football Centre, home to Easterhouse FA and Ashfield. Sadly all locked up today, two or three cage pitches
James McGrory Park home of St Roch's who are playing St Anthony's tonight
Petershill Park, home to all conquering Glasgow City, Petershill Juniors and Patrick Thistle Women and perhaps Caledonian Locomotive
In there somewhere is Springburn Park, kids coaching going on so that photo will need to do I had it down as home to Finnart but complete lack of any signs indicating it's home to anyone
Another former football ground now used for something else. Ashfield Stadium, former home of Ashfield Juniors, now home for Glasgow Tigers Speedway
Keppoch Park of Glasgow Perthshire. Looks like they've been knocking down some buildings and pitch doesn't look like it's been mowed for some time so wonder if they are still on the go
Firhill, Partick Thistle. Seem to be building a huge block of student flags behind the goal. Will they finally get promoted this year?
Back to proper fitba grounds. The brilliant Lochburn Park of Maryhill Juniors. Superb place to watch a game of fitba
Also not a football ground. Hamilton Crescent, home of the West of Scotland Cricket Club but more importantly was the venue for the first ever international, between Scotland and England, which like last night finished 0-0 after 90 minutes. There is no record of the performers in the half time show.
Next stop isn't a football ground. We originally had it on this list as Knightswood played on an adjoining cage pitch but they now play in Kirkintilloch which makes loads of sense. Scotstoun Stadium, home of Glasgow Warriors and venue for the Athletics of the Commonwealth Games so wasn't allowed in
Donald Dewar Football Centre and home of Drumchapel United. Kids camp going on so couldn't really get a photo of the whole pitch
Peterson Park, once home of BSC Glasgow who I believe are no more, after a very consuming history of success, splits and failure. Currently home to a shinty and Gaelic football teams by the looks of things
Not in Glasgow but on the way and would be a shame to miss such a brilliant ground and famous name. Holm Park, current home of Clydebank and of Yoker.
McKenna Park home of St Anthony's, was just about to leave when Felix McKenna, who's dad the ground is named after let me in a gave me a tour
Ibrox, home of Rangers, and if we're being honest the best stadium in the country. Many a miserable 90 mins spent here watching Aberdeen
