5. Frieren (Season Two) - Frieren season two was excellent. The art seemed less polished most of the season, but a couple of episodes near the end were back to standard. The story was most a lead up to the next major arc, but still great.
4. Witch Hat Atelier - another manga adapted as a series. Visually fantastic in the best ways with what looks like it will be a more complex storyline than most manga like this. I dig it so far. I highly recommend the manga as well.
3. The Ghost In The Shell (2026) - a new anime series trying to adapt the manga more closely than the movies did. Only one episode, but I dug it. Been a fan forever.
2. Hail Mary - Late to this but enjoyed it. It is pretty and has good heart. Being 'serious sci-fi' does make the stupid stuff stand out more, but still fun.
Ok, I always prefer what I liked posts to what I hate posts so here are five things I watched recently I thought were fun. 1. Supergirl - I dug it, but I can see why some didn't. The comic's story was better.
