Fun fact: my best friend @antonymarcil.bsky.social coined "Every Day is Earth Day" when he was working at the World Environment Center in the 1990s.
Heck, even straight guys had crushes on him. ;-) Even guys like me who had this poster on their bedroom wall as a teenager...
He posts garbage daily. Responding would be like playing whack-a-mole. Meanwhile, Congressional *Republicans* are setting themselves up for record-breaking losses on November 3rd.
Speaking of books... You may be interested in this one, which is available to listen to on Spotify (which is how I am listening to it).
Ok, now guess what my middle name is... (Yes, you're correct. 😂)
Hopefully he doesn't die before being imprisoned. And for the laypeople among us (me being one of them)...
Thank-you so much for your colorful visual proof that the sum of the first N odd numbers is N², by showing the case N=4. (I took the liberty of editing it slightly, to make it more obvious to the casual observer.) I can only imagine the level of pride you must feel, sir. Well done!
It's all part of the "flood the zone" playbook put forth by Steve Bannon. If you're forcing your enemies to play "whack-a-mole", they never have time to focus on any one thing.
You gave us N(5)=8 & N(6)=13 Using this, and the recursive formula, we get: N(7)=8+13=21 N(8)=13+21=34 N(9)=21+34=55 N(10)=34+55=89 ...or we can use the astonishing formula below and plug in n=10. 😳
I often imagine the beginning of a proof by induction as being like an infinite set of dominoes. Step 1: Show you can tip over the 1st one. Step 2: Show that tipping over any particular one will cause the next one to tip over.
"Nothing to see here folks, just some old guy having a stroke..."
Remind me: when was the last baseball game where a ball got STUCK in the outfield. WTF was that???
What they SHOULD'VE zoomed-in on was the book I was holding in my right hand. Page 175 is shown below...
@bsky.app @support.bsky.team I wish Bluesky had an option to auto-block "hot chick" accounts with 0 posts that attempt to follow me. So I wouldn't have to manually block them every single time...
