My Colt (Mirage) era has begun. Bought 2 of Sweden's remaining 147 CJ4A 1.6 Colts. Both MY2003 (final MY) and in Sport/GLX trim with SOHC 16V MPI (4G92) engine Blue one will be the actual project car (low mileage and in good condition). Grey one is a cheap parts car. #Mitsubishi Very excited 😀

Very poor fitment right now on Compomotive MO5 in 7x17 medium-ET. Would need 8" or 8.5" and for the car to be way lower (it will be sooner or later). So yes, I think it is doable.
Evo IV update! 🥰 white car just passed inspection somehow and is now street legal for the first time since January 2013. 🥲 not really ready yet (still no rear window, and on borrowed wheels from the Accord), but still. #Mitsubishi
Evo IV update! The white car is now almost fully assembled for the first time in 13 years. The 16" wheels are sadly not yet ready to go on the car, so we'll have to ignore the 18" Mazda wheels for a bit longer. Currently working on getting the rear window frame ready for the glass guy. #Mitsubishi

Today's Evo progress: Car glass guy was here and helped me pull the rear window out as it was leaking a lot. Now I need to do some minpr touch-up and order new trim clips etc before it can go back in. #Mitsubishi
After a rough day yesterday with a lot of brake line work, I am happy to announce that my white Evo has moved under its own power for the first time in ~12yrs! 😀 Still a long way to go, but test drive felt decent and engine didn't blow up. Ignore the horrible 18" Mazda wheels etc. #Mitsubishi
For some reason it was still possible to buy the Evo IV specific heat shield from Mitsubishi.
white Evo progress last night: Exhaust finished up, brand new OE manifold heat shield installed, transfer box and gearbox filled up, coolant filled/bled, and a few other small things. Next up is properly torque the front wheel bearings, make a clutch line, then hopefully test drive. #Mitsubishi
Progress on the white Evo today: * Prop shaft in * Downpipe in * Slave cylinder in * Cat and new catback mocked up, seems to fit quite well for a cheap ass china kit. Car is very brown underneath but after examining it closer, I'm confident that it is mostly light surface rust. #Mitsubishi
And here is a video (in Swedish) with the engine running but no exhaust system installed. Next up is installing prop shaft, exhaust system, slave cylinder, and various other small things. Also need to order tyres for the gold 16x7 Tecnocast wheels that were once on this car. #Mitsubishi
Good news, everyone We spent all day yesterday getting the engine and most of the small bits installed in my white Evo IV, only for it to run on only one cylinder. Today I cleaned and flow tested the injectors. IT RUNS! 😀 This is the first Evo engine I assemble from an empty block. #Mitsubishi
