Tips for effective alt text: be concise but descriptive, include important text shown in the image, describe key details rather than every detail, consider the image’s purpose and context, and explain what matters most.

A good example for an illustrated landscape reads: “Sunrise over a mountain lake with pine trees in the foreground and a clear sky.” Poor examples include only “Image,” “Photo,” or “Pretty view,” because they provide little useful information to screen-reader users.

Closing message: “A little effort. A big impact. Alt text opens the door to understanding, connection, and belonging.”

A vote for anyone other than Becerra or Steyer is a vote for Trump and his R@peublicans. If you’re “blue” and vote for porter or Mahan you’re doing nothing but throwing away your vote and potentially the governor seat and saying you like the rapist in the white house.
