Here's what I wrote in one of my novels, in 2014. I hate to say "I told you so", but, I TOLD YOU SO!!!!
American-manufactured "smart" TVs are now playing political ads from the Trump Administration, every time that the TV is put into "idle" mode. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025... Note that most of these TVs also have a camera... just like in Orwell's "1984".
Apart from the usual arrogant wannabe-bullying from Mad King Donald, the irony of this invective is that HE is the one who has given (in this case) Canada and the EU, a pressing incentive to "work together" against the U.S.. The rest of the world must isolate, punish and ostracize Trump's America.
We're looking at history, folks... live and in Technicolor. The disgraceful shouting match in the Oval Office today marks the final collapse of the so-called "Western world order" (and, probably, NATO as it now exists). And all because of what America's stupid, ignorant voters did on Nov. 5, 2024.
